We specialize in candle intention art, custom candle orders, feel-good local deliveries, positive vibes and the greatest creative expressions!

Home grown in ATX, Curio’s Candleworks started in a South Austin kitchen right off Stassney Lane. There, our recipes were created with a fusion of aromatherapy, color psychology, herbalism, & our on-going spiritual studies. Each recipe was created with a great deal of reflective research and deep intention. What started as a calling to create personalized gifts for friends & loved ones, quickly sparked into a burning passion, and soon a local family business was born.

A family with roots deep in the Austin music scene, as well as the local spiritual community, we definitely know how to keep it weird! Through collaboration, we formed a community hub of other weirdos - artists, vendors, performers, energy practitioners, and a garden variety of other creative entrepreneurs that often come to share space.
You can find some of Austin's most gifted mediums & oracles, who offer services out of our Reading Room. We also host a variety of interesting & valuable classes from community leaders as well, (read about it here). We are so excited & proud to provide space to such talent in these services to the community!

We aim to provide a space filled with great vibes, inspired by our wonderful hometown and all of the gems that we were brought up in! Our journey led us to the cute cottage we are calling our home on the corner of Menchaca & Prather. BABY, our Bad Ass Back Yard, is where the magic happens, and where the spirit of old Austin is reignited.
